Out at a dude ranch, a city girl found herself in a bit of trouble. She had been thrown off her horse during a trail ride, much to the dismay of the ranch owner, who rushed over to investigate.
The owner stormed up to the cowboy in charge of the trail rides, clearly upset. “Why on earth would you put a city girl who’s never ridden before on such a green horse?” the owner demanded.
The cowboy tipped his hat and replied calmly, “I tried to warn her, but she insisted. Said since she was a new rider, it only made sense to be put on a horse that’s never been ridden before either!”
