A boy went to the movies and was surprised to see an old man in the front row with his horse. The film was both sad and funny, and the boy was astonished to notice that during the sad parts, the horse would cry, and during the funny parts, it would laugh hysterically.
After the movie ended, the boy approached the old man.
“That was the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen!” the boy exclaimed. “Your horse really seemed to enjoy the movie!”
The old man nodded and said, “Yes, it’s remarkable—especially since he hated the book.”
