A Remarkable Horse

Micky, an original cast member of SFTH, left at the beginning of 2024. A truly remarkable horse, Micky had a distinguished career as an exceptional roping horse before finding a second calling as one of America’s premier mounted archery horses. He entered retirement in 2022 due to age, and the inception of this project was inspired by my desire to spend more moments with him.

Micky was a once-in-a-lifetime horse who taught me invaluable lessons in patience, forgiveness, and horsemanship—lessons I will carry with me forever. His memory will always hold a special place in my life.
